Hahahaha, screw mod packs. Took an hour and a half, but I found a way to get equivalent exchange, buildcraft, industrial craft, and integrated redstone (or redstone power) all on 1.7.3 of minecraft. And no lag!!!

 EE is another one of those mods that feels weird to use. I understand the point and the design philosophy, and it meshes well with vanilla Minecraft, but it doesn't mesh well with Industrialcraft. Works alright with Buildcraft. Granted the maker of Industrialcraft is kind of a loon at game design.

 I should probably check out Integrated Redstone before trying any reactor business. Would make things a bit safer.

This TexturePack is epic. Twice last night while doing my Diamond Rush test I turned around and found a Zombie standing in my face. The Texture for that Mob made me jump out of my seat...
Vanilla Zombies never made me do that...

Wondering why I am having such horrible lag with it. Mind posting your specs? I have more then enough memory and don't use all my CPU when running minecraft, don't know what the problem could be.

I get alot of lag near spawn, some choppiness in villages but other places it is fine.
I was also lagging bad before I scaled down Mo creatures

I turned off mo creatures and got far away form any villages and spawn, but still unplayable lag.

Dare I say it may be the video card? I have an ATI Radeon HD 3600

Grab OptiFine! It's a lag-reducing mod on the forums, and it helps a lot with choppiness.

Opti-fine has comparability issues with the modpack, because of Minecraft forge

It may be school/work, but I haven't seen anyone from Hammersong in the last couple of days.
