Applications aren't open. Referrals are. Assuming you didn't get referred already, you can still get referred.

I'm sorry, but I get all giggly and stupid when you have to fill out an application to play on a server.  There's a level of seriousness that just... I don't know... seems way too high.

You would understand if you played the first iteration of it. There is a lot of room for griefing in servers like this, so keeping it secure keeps it cool.

and it works! none of my unprotected stuff has been griefed yet. and in some cases I even have road signs telling people how to get there.

Ditto here. I mean, I can somewhat understand it for N@W because its such a big thing, but all these random 2-3 people-on-at-a-time servers that require applications make me laugh.

Yeah, the only thing taken from an unprotected place of mine was a piston and 2 pork chops, and that was before I said which nation it was.

I actually agree with the pro-apps folks. There are some folks who blatantly ignore/don't read the rules and jump right into the server. Plus this stops "just for the shits" greifers. There are of course folks who strategically sabotage things... but that's another story altogether.

Use pistons to push someone elses TNT to destroy their house. Then let them report their own TNT on their house
