Is any one having trouble eating in this version, I can't eat ,why the f*ck would someone add hunger when you can't eat?!

Select the food, and hold down right button.

For 30 seconds, it dosn't work.

You may need to cook it first, as you can no longer eat raw meat.

I started up 1.8 with my sister watching and loaded up one of the seeds with a town in it.  I was looking around in a church, turned around, and came face-to-face with a blinking, expanding creeper.  My sister thought it was hilarious.

I figured out the problem, you can eat while your "full". In other news, the monsters refused to violate my hole in the wall. Also, bonemeal is awsomer.

Low on yellow, red, or orange? Just set the bonemeal in grass and you'll get some taller grass and possibly flowers. Discovered that during Creative.

Found some melon seeds 

Finally something new to farm.

EDIT: Do they grow in the wild? I walked quiet some distance and haven't found any.

Two per melon, according to the wiki.

You can either eat the melon slice or craft it into seeds.

I wondered where you got those from. Pity they only spawn in chests. I've opened 4 or 5 chests now and didn't get any seeds at all.

However, I did find my first chasm underground. Damn, those are awesome!

Has anyone else been having problems logging in to Minecraft.  Not the site, the game itself.  My internet's fine, my password is good, but it always tells me "Login Failed" and I have to play in offline mode.  Help?
