Yup, it works! I think I knew that some time ago, but my brain has eroded evidently.

Upgrade complete:

Spoiler: Creeper-Class Mk.1-II Bomber (click to show/hide)

Added some stylish parts around the ship, and added pistons for additional gunning effect (sound and visible aesthetic in-and-outside), along with an upgraded cockpit.

The ship can now drop bombs and fire cannons. I also debugged the cannons so you can now reload them from the inside. Comes fully stocked with arrows (64x9 shots per cannon). Decided on arrows instead of eggs because that would be too silly. Snowballs could also work, I guess.

This wee craft (I imagine bigger craft will be made inspired by this) will dominate the skies with an adequate crew aboard.


EDIT:
The glass behind the door is because I got tired of lining myself up while flying to get inside.

Oh, and in one of the images, you can see the sequence bomber prototype (Mk. 2) I was working on in the background, and it's devastation.

Might as well call it a Hi-Res upgrade; because man, that's alotta detail by comparison to the first screenshots I posted.

Out of curiosity, has anyone made a Creative-to-Survival and vise-versa mod yet?

It's easier to misplace above the line than below, so you should have almost no problem clogging the pathway with TNT; and even if placed above the line, it won't be detonated. A failsafe in it's own.

I also took some time to work on the other bomber model. It essentially does work, and due to all the wiring and it's layout, it's more a wide-bomber. Using the same amount of munitions essentially, but spread out and with up to a few milliseconds of delay between munitions detonations (100-300ms, according to repeater/dust layout).

EDIT:
Changed lever into button. You would actually see the pulse pass by as the bombs fall in line.

Mk.2 has the norden sight and detonator on the rear of the ship rather than the front.
