Well, thats bullshit, because I CAN'T GET THE PRELEASE. Everytime I try and install the .Jar, I get this Error Message:

You need to put it in the bin folder that's why and load from the exe

If you have the EXE version, just overwrite the Minecraft.jar file and play from the EXE. Of course, don't forget to backup first.

There are detailed instructions if you google it. Pretty sure there is also a vid up on youtube explaining how.
