Yeah, it's right there. Play Minecraft Beta: Browser or Download. Obviously you would choose browser.

Anyway, I only use the browser because the launcher gives me the bad graphics card error even after upgrading my drivers. I have the Intel 82915G/910GL Express Chipset, which from what I've heard is not very good at all. So new graphics card time, except I can't afford one.

Yeah, some sort of main base should be established for the new jaycraft aside though. It could work so that people can actually find each other and work together to build stuff. By the way, in minecraft I go by Bigelow, even though it isn't my classic label.

Yeah, biomes are awesome in 1.8. In my last map I was on a big series of islands, and never saw any cows, presumably because cows couldn't spawn in that biome. It's a nice touch. Pigs and sheep were fairly rare too, I mostly ate chicken.

Then again, it may need to be rather limited (exclusive to Bay-12). TNT works in creative mode now. ._.

Plus access to lava and water buckets in creative. That sounds fun.

In slightly more grim news, swamp trees appear to be a map generation only thing, so if you want more you'll need to grow a normal tree, make some shears, harvest some vines, and then manually apply them.

Blegh.

The mushroom house in the first image doesn't actually work though.  If you sleep in the bed you'll wake up with your head in the roof and die.  The trick is to cut away everything except the bottom row of blocks from the cap, then spawn a new mushroom inside this circle until you get one that matches up perfectly.  You can see my little mushroom home on the Jaycraft 1.8 server map thingy.
