I've grown a giant brown one, it wasn't very pretty.  The textures were a bit simple.  Cutting it up gave me the occasional small brown mushroom per block.

Did anyone notice a change in creeper behaviour?  They seem to love hiding behind blocks.  I knocked one back until it landed near a tree, and it purposefully went to hide behind it.
It's extremely noticeable in mineshafts as well, where there literally is a creeper around every corner, lisping in wait.

I know. I spotted a creeper (several, actually) in a mine, they immediately jumped behind one of the supports and waited for me.

I'm pretty sure he upgraded their behaviour.  Skeletons seemed to do the same thing when shooting at me. I got shot in the back several times, each time turning around to what seemed to be an empty corridor, except for the skeleton waiting behind one of the supports.

Also, while brown mushrooms make large platforms, red mushrooms make these small dome shapes.  Put a ladder against the stem/trunk and close up the floor with wood and you have an instant-home.

Skeletons are real a-holes. I was wandering through this cave-mine overlap and I kept getting shot in the back but I couldn't find the offending skeletons.

Zombies: infantry ( need feedback on zombies from 1.8 )

Skeletons: Snipers

Creepers: Upgraded suicide bombers

Spiders: Cavalry

Ghasts: Air force ( need to know, any changes to these guys in 1.8?)

Zombie Pigmen: Hivemind collective ( need info on this too )

Endermen: Infiltrators.

Well, Endermen do teleport, can they teleport into your houses?  If so, they're infiltrators.  The blue spiders are assassins, they have poison.
