Redstone question, how do you power a note block that's in the ground with redstone wire? This is what I just tried:
Code: [Select]
LRRa
wwwN
Ugly diagram...
L=lever
R=Redstone wire
a=air
w=wood plank
N=Note block

So yeah I'd like to get power to the note block without removing any of my flooring if it's possible.

I heard your like sieges so I put a Goblin fortress in your fortress so you could siege while besieged.

You would have to go underneath the blocks. Imagine the redstone you place down taking up an entire block by itself. That block needs to be adjacent to what it is going to supply power to.

I just realized.
How doesh the crafting table have metal tools on the sides when it's fully composed of wood?
How was the first ever anvil in df made without an anvil to make it on? Magic!

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

But where did the mountainhome import it from? I think if we found out the universe would collapse on itself.

Your drunk posts continue to baffle me.

No, it just came from wherever the Mountainhomes were (was?) when it was founded.

Nah, I bet the dwarves stole it from the Gods themselves.  I can see this dwarf struggling under the weight of the Divine Anvil, carrying it down from where the Gods live, grumbling at some crazy human with a torch skipping past.

and then as punishment he was chained to a tree, and an elf chops his beard every day?

I new envision an effeminate elvish barber cutting a struggling dwarf's beard while discussing the weather. With the tree.

For anyone who cares, Nations at War: Open Beta has been launched.

I'm pretty out of touch with the stuff but I'm designing a grand entrance nevertheless. I'll post it here when I'm done along with a recommendation for the Hollows.
