Would still rather harvest renewable wool than trade iron for it, even if the rate is pretty good. Too much fun permanent stuff to do with iron.

I've recently found a minecraft pathfinding mod. With this, programming guard NPCs for a city would be as simple as figuring out how to:

1: Set them to move on regular patrols.
2: Make them react to specific actions that happen around them.

PS that was an understatement both those things must be really hard to do and I really wish I could program.

This is where I generally lock threads, because it's degenerated to two delusional agitators who seem to think that some computer game is a perfect model of the real world.
I hope you aren't trying to call me a "delusional agitator."  His requirements just won't work.  People who are intent on killing will not stop doing so if they don't have weapons and those that have weapons will not feel a sudden urge to kill.  End of story.

He's crazy to think it would work, you're crazy to give this more attention than it needs.

Sounds interesting. Might be worth bringing this up on the N@W forum.

Hey, you know what else we could do? We could just drop it.

Anyone tried Vechs' Super Hostile maps? I just installed the new one and so far it is definitely the most punishing.

I just realized.
How does the crafting table have metal tools on the sides when it's fully composed of wood?

The same way you craft metal into picks without any heat:

Ah, the same way that you can always cram more dragons into a tiny hallway, so long as all but one are lying down.

Pffft guards? Put it on creepers. Or better yet make a new mob that is creepers riding spiders and put it on them.
