Minecraft Ingame Name:Andrea_2
Age:19
Country:Italy
How long have you been playing Minecraft?Since June 28,2009. Which means, almost 2 years.
Have you played on any other servers? If so provide their name.At the beginning, I played on a server called Ocean build. then, I played on a long gone server hosted by people of Bay 12 Games Forum, of which I can't remember the name. I haven't played survival multi player much, but I played on Jaycraft and Planehacked, both hosted by members of Bay 12 Games Forum.
How did you discover Nations at War? If from a friend, provide their username.I discovered Nations at War when Duke 2.0, in a thread about Minecraft ( still Bay 12 forum), posted the trailer for v2. However, earlier than that I had already heard about the previous version, the one with 4 elemental nations, from the same thread
Why do you want to be a part of Nations at War? One of the main reasons is the map. From what I have seen, it seems a masterful work, and in my opinion it will be very fun to explore, discover and transform it.
Furthermore, the nation mechanics seem to have the potential to create an world that is truly alive, big, complex. Much deeper than the average Minecraft server. (And I am not speaking about actual map height, of course.)
I would like to see that world and its story unfold before my eyes, and in part by my hands.
Have you read, and agree to abide by, the rules?Yes, I have read the rules, and yes, I agree to abide by them
Are you familiar with the changed gameplay mechanics the server uses? Describe them a little. As far as I can understand , the biggest changes are iconomy and nations.
Iconomy allows each player and nation to have money. Each day players get a small amount of money , but it can also be obtained by killing monsters , trading with NPCs, killing other players, doing jobs for the nations. Nations themselves can also gain or lose money in wars.
money can be used to purchase land and found nations.
Nations provide bonuses such as protecting their land from people not belonging to that nation.
Nations can also declare war to other nations, if both parties agree, which allows members of the nations to damage buildings in enemy nations's land. at the end of the war, some money is lost by the loser and gained by the winner and all the non precious blocks are restored.
Have you installed the N@W texture pack, and client mod?I haven't installed the client mod yet, but I have installed, and I am currently using, the texture pack.
While perhaps a bit dark, it really looks great.
If invited onto the server, what would you bring to the community?:First of all, I hope to be able to enhance the playing experience of the groups I will join and meet, as a person and as a player. Then, I plan to explore , see the nations rise , grow and eventually fall. I don't plan, however, to have any leadership role in a nation. Instead, I'll just help my nation as a peasant and trader.
I am not the best architect, so I won't be the one to build the golden capital of the empire, but here there is a sample of my skills.
An old project of mine , revived for this application but still unfinished.
