Jeb has been answering MC questions. There are two videos posted so far, I'm still watching em. One interesting thing thats cropped up so far though; one of the reasons Jeb didn't add the piston spring, is because they are thinking about adding it later as a seperate block.

EDIT: Oooh, and we have a definite value for the chunk load distance; 32x32 chunks in a square around the player's current chunk.

So I spent today making a 3-wide gate with sticky pistons. I kept trying to use a XOR gate.

Only within the past hour did I realize that to make a paired lever-opened door, I need to use an XNOR gate. Derp.

And notch needs to include launcher pistons, which affect creatures and sand the same as in the mod.

 Launcher pistons were always silly and should be a separate block involving a spring.

In other news, I'm making a giant factory in the lagoon Zisteau features in his Life on Bogota series - in singleplayer, that is. These large doors will play an integral part.

 A pack has a bunch of sloped blocks that could be used to make a loop. The player control classes would have to be reworked though.

 I suppose I should return to making that Industrialcraft Buildcraft factory. It's weird having the Industrialcraft miners which are difficult to use compared to the initally expensive Buildcraft excavators. I don't think I can get enough output from the Industrialcraft ones to justify the factory though.

 Fuck the Buildcraft blinking to make pipes work junk, I'm using radio signs.

Ah, that'd be Kaevator's SuperSlopes. FYI, for some reason, attempting to use that mod with TooManyItems results in a crash when you try to view a "page" that any of the blocks from SuperSlopes is on.

It's my favourite. You couldn't tell it now, but my username originally came from it.

Anyway, they're Digimon Pendulum sprites. In fact, the sprites of the two Digimon I was raising at the time on my ver. 1.0 and 5.5. They both died yesterday...
