Nuke reactor seems not so useful unless you happen to run into a lot of uranium. Not really sustainable given how rare it has been for me.

Uranium is rare, but it also has the highest energy density of anything...
1 ore -> 4 fuel rods
1 fuel rod -> ~40k EU iirc

 It's another backup source of energy to keep quite a distance away from your main area. You'll run across Uranium ore when mining, may as well use it instead of stockpiling it.

 I would be totally cool with being able to surround a chest with geothermal reactors and have them take lava buckets from the chest. If it just worked like a waterwheel there would be little reason to use them as lava isn't difficult to get a limitless source of. Lava towers would be a bit more dangerous but not really a problem. It would have to coincide with a bunch of nerfs to such a setup, like making wires melt to lava and stuff.

 But really it's just the fact that buckets don't stack that irritates me. for hydrated coal dust you need to fill your inventory with water buckets and go through the drudgework of setting them for every single hydrated coal dust unit, then applying that to a marginally lesser scale for geothermal lava buckets.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

You DO understand that you can surround a single bucket of water in eight coal dust to hydrate that all at once, right?

Secret?
Huh, didn't know that.
And I do not understand what point you are trying to put through in those quotes, can you explain?

The creator make 'secret' recipes. He rants whenever they are released, and threatens to hold the update.

I for one lost interest when he introduced pie.

Still Minecraft is ten times better than Stranded, where it takes you hours of gameplay to do the simplest things. (aka wasted time)

Minecraft doesn't have pies, so you haven't lost interest yet?

3 Milk 2 sugar 1 egg 3 wheat = pie.

Edit : Or Cake. You may be right there.
The point is, i didn't drool over it, nor dance happily. Adding an extra grindy secret object still doesn't make SP too appealing.

And pies in Multi? Of no use.

Minecraft is still fun, but pies are not part of it. Oi.

Bio-fuel's probably the easiest way to get quick energy, once you get a little established anyway. Bamboo farm and it's almost entirely renewable.

Don't you have to throw away 5 tin every time you use bio-fuel? I've made tons of plantclumps from excess saplings but I don't want to waste the tin actually get energy from it. I would love to know if there is a way to use it without throwing away precious tin.
