Outside of first floor of tower. Outer wall almost finished except for some decorative smoothstone. Bottom block of each window has a luminator behind it. It will burn any zombie or skeleton standing in front of it.
Solar cell group on a pedestal to give some protection from creeper explosions.
Hydro generator group next to bridge to island with nether portal on it.
Interior of first floor of tower. Inner walls will be filled and faired over eventually once wiring is complete.
Last few things to do are probably red stone wiring the doors and deciding upon interior lighting method.
Switch at far end of room controls window lighting.
Workshop area, and oldest part of current base. Situated directly under solar cell group. It's also the main power hub of the base. All power routes through a single MFE. Power from there splits out into the hallway (and under the tower) and into the machinery.
Machinery and the main power cut off to the rest of the base. Consists of a redstone torch with a switch. Torch on = power doesn't flow unless the MFE is full. Torch off = Power flows to the rest of the network.
Upper level of the tower, not started yet, but shows how the wiring will be run "through" the walls.
Could all be designed much better and I could have started bigger, but I'm just making it up as I go.
