Yes I did. I finally got sufficiently annoyed to try re-reinstalling everything on a fresh .jar and now it works. I don't know why, but it just does now. What is with these overtly malicious inanimate objects?

I'm gonna say you probably are.  I honestly really do want to try IndustrialCraft, and there was a link a couple pages back to a different website that actually had everything explained correctly.  But that OP, between the incredibly shitty language, no attempt whatsoever at editing, and crucially missing graphics just leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that I can't bring myself to download it.

Though the text file is also in serious need of an editor's touch, but at least it is absent any kind of superfluous exclamations. I think it is also missing some items; 3.93 doesn't explain how to make wind generators, for example.

Edit: New recipes are apparently in his OP now, just not the text file.

 I like the style he was going for, I really do. Valve did it a lot with TF2 and it was absolutely fantastic. Pulled off correctly and the OP will be a merit to read.

 The problem was that it was terribly done. He keeps repeating the same things over and over and over again, reinforcing them with jokes that lacked punchlines and internet humor that stopped being funny years ago. HEYO really shouldn't be something he adds to every damn paragraph.

 Good concept, bad execution, stopped reading after skimming over the machines.
