As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

never thought that this could happen... :o

Next stop Yahtzee reviewing DF ver 1.0 :D

You're assuming he'll have the time to ever review ever again after picking up DF 1.0.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

You're all assuming DF goes retail. As far as I understand, Yahtzee doesn't review free games. Or am I wrong?

(Cue 5,000 people posting "I signed up just to say you're wrong, Leo")

(Heck naw, I wouldn't generate that much interest)

Yes, I had some super preemptive magic going on.

As an American I imagine I'm supposed to be offended by that first part of the review.  But I'm too busy laughing at it to be offended.    Maybe it's just because I know it's right.

(P.S. I'm fairly certain yer right actually though yea.  But I don't think there's any real official word for me to find as a quote.)

Some schoolmates and I collaborated on a palace of sorts for ourselves, on our private server. We are all feeling very accomplished, because it is quite large of itself, but also has a well secured and very extensive grounds. We've got sugar and cactus automated farms, and orchards, and a smithy, and it all just feels rather stately and efficient.

And then one of my friends made a fire arrow dispenser wall, and a misalignment of several dispensers and a lava spout, led to our whole compound being set of on fire. Several people died whilst trapped in the blaze, and many thousands in damages are reported.
