that is so weird.

also last night, I dreamed that I was back at school, just lodging in my old bed, in my old dorm, for no particular reason, and everybody else in the dorm was nearly half my age.

Tetris Effect

I used to get it playing Go

Interesting... especially this part:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I wonder if it also prevents the mental recitation of normal memories. Maybe this is why I crave chess so bad when I'm having a real shitty time.

Gentlemen, I find that I require some help.

I have to make a visual argument (read: an advertisement) for my English 102 class.
...
And do it within 5 minutes and 42 seconds.

o_0 That's a looooooooonnnggg ad.
So it's an infomercial then. Just make 30-60 seconds of footage and repeat it.
Hell, you don't even need that much.

"Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!
Magma on: Apply directly to the Dwarf!"

No, for Minecraft it's more like "Creeper On: Apply directly to your housssssse!"

This is for a grade. And I'd prefer to impress people with epic sights to great song, not annoy them to death.

I actually bought head on, just to see what it does. Still have no clue.

You've got the whole of Jaycraft that you could be filming.

Hell, you could even film someone else building something and then speed it up 10x.  That'd make a neat clip, if you did it right.

I'm planning on running a minecraft server when damage comes out for me and a few friends. Do you guys know if a server running like 2-5 people can run on an average computer without significant lag?

Notch went from daily updates to weekly updates and now it's at one update a month.

It's over 99% wax. The remaining fraction of 1% is "homeopathic medicine", or as I tend to call it, "nothing". Head-On is nothing more than a candle you buy to rub on your head as a placebo.

"Average" tells us nothing.
Every computer has been/will be "average" at some point in its lifespan.

Specs?
Also, connection?
We're running Jaycraft on a system with 2 GB of RAM.  I doubt you could do it with much less then that.

Seeing as a grand total of no one has paid full price for Minecraft yet, all we're technically entitled to is a half-way finished Minecraft.

Meh. He's got a business to set up. It's like being asked to work full time while moving to a new house.

Been there, done that. It didn't take this long.

And yet, no one has an excuse to complain anyway. Notch can develop the game at whatever pace he wants, and unless he stops work entirely he owes us nothing more.
