Sorry if this was answered earlier, but I haven't played since before the Halloween patch and I was wondering if there's any way I can play my old pre-Halloween game without it auto-patching? I'd rather spend some more time on it before introducing the new bugs and features.

Take your login details out of the prompt and then attempt to log in, click Play Offline when it asks you if you want to retry.

I've created a minecart system down to my active mining projects. It's still pretty useless, seeing as the carts insist on being difficult. Still trying to figure out a good way to put a powered, storage, and riding cart all in one tram. Wish I could link them together.

There are other ways of powering minecarts. Combined with a switch you should be able to get a decent sytem going.

Edit: well, the fire is out at last. took half a ingame day to burn to a gap in the forest. Luckily i didn't really want the forest that i burnt down there anyway...

I just had a thought - smoke-emitting blocks. Light some wood on fire and it emits smoke. Also add a new block type that simply emits smoke when placed, because moving particles look a hell of a lot better than static gray blocks.

Since the Halloween update I've been working on my faithful 32x32 texture pack. I just finished my first attempt at all three hell blocks and while checking them out in game I found somewhere with all three, took a screenshot, uploaded it, and am now posting it here.
