I wonder when Notch will imput the first of the Mega-Mobs? I say this because, if both mega-mobs and prefix-mobs are implimented, it is very well possible that we will get to fight Creeper Dragons.

I hope Notch plays up the horror aspect of the Nether some more in the future. The Nether is disturbing, but I remain terrified of exploring dark caverns alone. It's really too bad Notch changed his mind about making Herobrine a reality, because the Nether would be an excellent place for it.
He said he was still considering making Herobrine a reality at some point.

The only way I could see Herobrine still having a chance would be if Notch is simply lying about not putting him in so he can so so secretly in some update or another. And for the record? That's still somthing I have lingering in the back of my mind in every update, waiting, watching...

preparing.

Alas, transparencies on the rest of the body don't work in multiplayer.

Okay, that is pretty awesome. To bad about the transparency issue (unless you weren't using fancy graphics setting that caused it).

Yeah, my guy wears a swimsuit and a T-shirt and has a Rubik's cube for a head.

Wait, no Woo, "Bay12!"?

That ambient occlusion one is insane. I'm kinda familiar with the theory, and I thought that sort of effect took pretty intensive ray-tracing. I'm going to have to get that.

I wonder if notch could buy the rights from him?

As far as I can remember without looking again, the guy just used the same sort of system as the "Better-grass" mod. He posted it on SA before the MC forums and I'm pretty sure that's what he said.

I'd guess few replied because my post fell before the default end of the last page. It's a sure way to get a post unnoticed.

I'd like it if something like this was implemented. Notch has accepted code from others before specifically from the guy who made the procedural trees.

I'm surprised less people have commented. In case it's because my post fell at the end of a page some might not have seen it so for those who don't know what we are talking about:

I'm not so certain as he had to disable the better grass mod for the moment due to changes with the current system and yet the ambient occlusion is working fine. My only problem with the better grass mod was that it made it harder to judge the shape of the land and I think the ambient occlusion mod will fix this problem.

Edit: Fixed a misunderstanding in the post

It adds some slight shading, I don't think it's groundbreaking or amazing.
