Problem with metal boats is the formation is already taken.

So use a new one. Or change them. Are we retarded or something?

Concept:

Grid:
###
###
###

Wheel:
WRW
RWR
WRW

W=wood
R=rod

Minecart:
###
I # I
wI w

w= Wheel
I= iron

Iron boat would be without wheels I guess.

Iron Boat:
Code: [Select]
XXX
IXI
III

Mine Cart:
Code: [Select]
XXX
III
IXI

Boy, that was hard.

I = Iron
X = Empty

Would it be possible to make a floodgate system with pressure plates, doors, red stone and minecarts? As in, do minecarts block water?

 Carts don't stop water, although there is a clever mod out there if you want it.

I hope Notch plays up the horror aspect of the Nether some more in the future. The Nether is disturbing, but I remain terrified of exploring dark caverns alone. It's really too bad Notch changed his mind about making Herobrine a reality, because the Nether would be an excellent place for it.

Now that you said that I am never making portal agian and if I see one I will destroy it.

This would be funny to see. What would it be called though? Nether-Nether Land?

If we were to continue my Star Control analogy, the Nether is either Hyperspace or *Below*. Thus, under the Nether is either Quasispace or somthing so horrible I don't want to think about it.

I'd laugh if the second nether was real nice and fluffy, like heaven.
Pigs, floating nice clouds with smiliy faces, soft sheeps.
Happy happy always sunny!
The portal to it must be made of wool and instead of fire to get to it you must apply a golden apple to the bottom.
Since redstone has power stuff, yellow stone has unknown use and glows.
Heaven-neather will have blue stone with unknown properties, what does it do on top of that though?

Yes! I thought about that since I first saw minecraft! I hope for bloom and depth of field next. Would be specially nice if we had those head wave distortions in desertish areas as well.
