I think I got too hyped up to be completely satisfied with this update but I am not complaining. The nether is crazy. I love the sounds and love/hate the new mobs, though I do wish ghasts would stay a little closer and I wish pigmen didn't retain their grudge against you indefinitely.

So now all the pigmen are hostile. Forever, it seems. I don't know how the hell they aggroed in the first place... Possibly a stray arrow aimed at a ghast. >:(

Yeah this is typically how it happens or at least it has been for me. If you don't mind changing the difficulty down to peaceful and back up again it will make them friendly again.

I think the new yellow dust will react with red stone dust and we will be able to use it like red stone but differently.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.  The obvious solution is to chain the baby up at the entrance as a kobold detector.

Based on the fact it'd be a cool idea.
Maybe instead of a positive charge it produced a negative charge?

Umm... what? Since when has redstone made a positive charge?

Is the zombie siege mode going to be released in alpha? It sounds so awesome. Especially if we get gunpowder rifles and shotguns :P

I might try it again later. I don't like being yelled at for not helping some idiot put out a fire he started.

Umm... what? Since when has redstone made a positive charge?

Well it could be negative.

I don't think it is electricity at all.

Right. A positive charge isn't possible. Electricity is made of moving electron, which by nature are negatively charged.

What we think of as a 'positive charge' is just a lack of electrons.

Ahem, what he was trying to say in the first place, I believe, is that Yellow stone reacts oppositely than red stone. So, where a switch would turn redstone on, a switch might turn yellow stone off

??
