Some of the cheek of the people tweeting Notch about health in MP is horrendous. I'd rather it wasn't in to be honest, it's kinda annoying falling off things. Add dying to that and potentially losing items because of server lag etc..

start in "Nether" = quick death?

You'll probably have to go out of your way to die in SMP considering there isn't working health/damage.

You literally cannot die in SMP. I fell into the Void earlier, and that couldn't kill me. If the Void can't kill it, nothing can.

I spend most my time in SP. I find it more fun in terms of dieing, lag, and no greifers.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

You really aren't thinking like a dwarf.

If you think it is down too far, you move it up until it reaches an acceptable elevation.

This.

Portals aren't gonna be in the update Notch says.

I want proof of that. He already said Hell was finished earlier.

So we might see it or we might not, if we don't get it yet I'm sure we'll get in after a few days.

I'm listining to a new track that started up just now, my lit caves are filled with monsters again, and skelletons now visibly carry bows. Lets do this shit.
