@notch will the ghasts only be in hell, or will they be in the normal dimension as well?

@jakeyyyboyy if you've got a gate, they can (rarely) spawn there.

Ghasts eat creepers for breakfast. Or just as a midnight snack.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

There are no more Creepers now. Only Ghast.

See, this is what happens when you give miners Interdimentional-Fatiuge Technology, which turned out to be powered by Obsidian.
You are automatically several times more awesome for making that reference.

Well, I sort-a-kinda have made the first middle chamber of the Ultracave safe, along with the upper chamber. But not the lower one. Too much magma and unexpored land to even consider that at the moment.

EDIT: Oh god, I was wrong! No where is safe! Where the hell do these creepers keep coming from!?

Oh god that looks awesome. The way slipgates work totally ruins the "minetrack into hell" idea though.

I wonder if they'd transport the mine cart as well if the track ended at the slipgate.

Idea: what if the minetrack ends just before the portal?

So you could just have a cart and track waiting on the other side of the portal then, hop in and continue your journey. I'm imagining hell-cart systems running through the slip each leading to portals with signs for different destinations and lovely galleries with hellish overlooks.

"Bing Bong, next stop: Magma Overlook with portals to Minetown."
