Jaycraft seems to have just crashed.
Damnit.
Tylui didn't set up any way for me to remotely restart it or anything.

EDIT: He did mention something about random downtime along the lines of 20 minutes a day or something.
...I guess now we wait, as he's not there to do anything about it.
I'm twitching...

Whoa, where! I love new materials!
(But I didn't see anything like that on his twitter.)

redearth1210: @notch Will there be new building blocks from hell? Like hellish stone or something?

notch: @redearth1210 I don't want to give everything away! But yes.

Sorry about that random down time. Mediacom sucks a fatty. Or maybe it's my Belkin router. Probably the combination, as I was having problems with Mediacom before I got that router. I'll be switching the server over to a VPS when I get some free time. Hell, I might do that today. Anyway, random downtime for ~20 minutes is better than no Jaycraft at all for several hours at a time, no?

If they are in Caverns Creepers annoy me, out in the open I just lay my Cacti traps around me and build a wall with a simple window to attract them...

It was at least once a day before the server moved. I think Tylui and Jay are working on how to do the map updates still, so there hasn't been an update in the last day and a half/two days or so.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I'm trying desperately to farm them now, as I need a crapton of TNT to clear away some pesky mountains and I refuse to map edit.  Saw a great monster funnel death trap design today (http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=47522), and I'm going to try building some small version of it tonight.

You are correct.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but I accidentally used the header PHP for the footer, so the head was at the bottom too XD
It's fixed now.

Also, the header is now a random one of the Jaycraft banners from my sig.
