Dosen't this hillside just ask you to build a sphinx into it:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It'll be a bit trickier with the sand once i get to the head, but luckily the sphinx dosen't have its nose...
It does ask for a sphinx. Here's a building tip. Torches. Somehow, they can brace anyhting that falls when placed (gravel and sand). Great for traps and such. It may make the sphinx look unusual, unless you make a sort of necklace kind of thing to make the support structure more decorative.

Secondary idea: using the torch-port system, the nose is the way in. Break the nose torch-port, walk through, and you're in a secret archive.

Using torches for that is somewhat finicky. Place a torch as soon as you dig out a cube and it supports all of the cubes above it. Place it a fraction of a second later, all of the blocks above fall and get destroyed. Place it a fraction after that and the torch is crushed.

Jaycraft has moved!
Don't worry about memorizing any new IPs, as we're still at the same one.
However, we're now probably going to be up most-if-not-all of the time :D

What purpose will hell serve, exactly?

If someone wants to be super awesome and request something on the Runecraft thread on the Minecraft forums for me, thanks.

"Desertification Rune": Can only be built with a 5x5 square of sand beneath

Code: [Select]
C R C
  I
RIIIR
  I
C R C
Where C is cactus, R is redstone torch, I is ink.

Converts all dirt, water, and gravel in a radius determined by the Ink's tier into sand.
Destroys flowers, reeds, and leaves in same radius.
Trees turned into cacti in radius; Complex trees to complex cacti, standard trees to standard cacti, saplings to single cactus pieces.

Bomb Arrows

3D rune; select with bow.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
T is TNT, D is Diamond, I is Iron
When arrows hit the target, they turn into live TNT blocks with some unknown amount of time left on the fuse (possible two variations, a more expensive one with instant explosion and one with full or slightly delayed fuse). Lasts a decent time, and potent, but also very expensive.

In case anyone missed his twitter. I was gone on vacation with slow internet, so not sure if it was posted already.
Anyways, the torches are going to go out now :O
Flint and steel will actually have a use!

And hell shall be awesome.

Whoa, where! I love new materials!
(But I didn't see anything like that on his twitter.)

*Shiver*... First read about Herobrine. Even though I know it's fake, it's still terrifying.

Jaycraft seems to have just crashed.
Damnit.
Tylui didn't set up any way for me to remotely restart it or anything.

EDIT: He did mention something about random downtime along the lines of 20 minutes a day or something.
...I guess now we wait, as he's not there to do anything about it.

That may be a problem. Damn it, I was doing work at a good clip, too (for me).
