On an unrelated note, does somebody have a better TrueType font for the signs/players maps?
I'm currently using Arial Black (or Century Gothic?) but surely there's something better out there...

Of these two suggestions, I think I'd prefer wingdings.  :P

I'd recommended DejaVu Sans, but I'm not sure if it is TrueType.

Well, the update that's going up as I type this is using Century Gothic.
It's trivial to change, though, so please.  More suggestions!
It needs to be decently blacked at 12 points, so no outline fonts.  Otherwise, anything -serious- is game.
I'd recommended DejaVu Sans, but I'm not sure if it is TrueType.
It is.

I decided to go on a bit of a supply run importing wood from Starter Mines, but after farming some trees (and establishing a reed farm as well), I did a bit of exploring of the Great Plains, and found a small cave with a pocket cave near it (now made as a camp site and a shipping relay point from the more important thing I found).

A little more exploring later, I found a huge-ass cavern, now titled Spelunker Mines, with the pocket cave as Miner's Hideout. Spelunker's is very well hidden, and I didn't notice it until I explored the Plains. Found some ore and tons of coal, and more than enough gravel. Considering the difficulty of normally finding it, I made a torch, and simple directions to it, with a simple torch path if wandering the plains.

Anyway, the Spelunker Mines are enormous. At least a couple forks were found, and I have barely explored it entirely. I may need some resource chests if I decide to spend a day or 2 in there. Bonus if I can find any magma. I could use another export. I think the UG maps will show a giant glowing spot now, since I found so much. I could maybe check out the UG map and see if I can spot it.

EDIT:
Okay, if I interpreted my cavern map correctly, HO-LY CRAP!!! This cave will take me some time to fully explore, and it should guarantee magma in a few spots. And this doesn't seem to be the only major cave system in the Great Plains.

This'll be fun.

EDIT EDIT:
This is in my SP map. Same one I've been posting about.

CAVE NOTES:
Heading out to the first right led me to another entrance to the cave system. Did a little exploring and gravel/coal mining, and collected a decent amount of material. Now labeled as a back door.

To the left, I have cleared out 2 more gravel pits, and the road also split into 3. The upper path had some iron deposits, as did the fork and the bottom path. To the right is another form in the road. That is to be explored. Fortunately for base camp, I should keep at it for another while, but it's late right now. I'll continue mining tomorrow.

After discovering the game through the free weekend, I am finally getting around to purchasing it. Unfortunately, I seem to be having difficulties with PayPal. Whenever I attempt to finalize the purchase I am informed that "You cannot complete this action on the card you have selected. Please select another card." I am using an American Express gift card valued at 25 USD, which my research indicates should more than cover the 13.70-ish USD price of the game (after currency conversion). I am still going through the customer service processes of both American Express and Paypal to track down the issue, but my present hunch is that the payment is failing because of the different currencies being used. If so, I doubt this is the first time it has happened and I was hoping that someone here may know how I can resolve the issue.

I am not yet old enough to hold a credit card in my own name (close though) and my parents are not willing to give their card information to PayPal. I have run through the steps of creating a PayPal account and linking the gift card to it to verify the functionality of the card and it's good. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.

You might be able to deposit the money from it in a paypal account, and use that.

Dasleah,

Seems that you can run a server from Hamachi and so a TF2 buddy of mine is doing just that. In addition I found a decent SMP server hosting out of Sydney.

Use the card to transfer funds to pay pal, then pay just using your account. For what ever reason it would not let me pay directly with a card either.
