If Notch suddenly disappears to a remote french island. I wouldn't blame him.

And immediately begins punching down trees and building a stone house with his bare hands?  ;D

But yeah, this is ridiculous. It'd be more ridiculous if he could actually access any of his Paypal funds, of course, and we're still operating under the assumption that they'll ever let him access his money, but still. Twenty thousand purchases. That's damn impressive.

From his twitter, he can access his money, they just want to retain 5% of each purchase for 90 days. Ie, So they can make money out of interest and typical bank crap.

Assuming a profit of 2,500,000, those 90 days would provide them with barely even 1,000 euros intrest.

...What Interest rate are you using to calculate that?

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

a generous 2.5%, even at double that it's merely 2,000

Hmm... I guess it would be money that they have at the end of the year, though I'm not sure how useful that would be to them.

DF isn't nearly as accesible as Minecraft, and Toady'd have to make us pay for the game to arguably earn more, which IIRC isnt something he wants to do.

Is it weird I can still play the game on the world I made during the free weekend?
I can still craft and everything, but I haven't actually bought the game.

I've heard other people have had problems with the sound not working.  Or maybe not.  But the point is, my sound isn't working.  It might be trying to, but I'm not getting footsteps, music, animal noises, anything.
