I feel like an idiot, but can anyone tell me where Minecraft keeps its world data?  I'm trying to install that Skyland map, but be damned if I'm going to submit and use the auto-installation program.

This self installer uses a batfile that extracts very quickly. I'd recommend using it in this case. Anyways.... %appdata%.minecraft

The auto-installer also has an application that cna move your spawnpoint, so you are better off using it if you can. But yeah, It's in %appdata%.

I know what he meant, which is why I answered him correctly, as long as he's on Windows that is.

I'm kind of scared of a skylands SMP map. The greifing potential seems even greater than normal.

Well, you half answered me.  Where is %appdata%?  Since the auto-installer doesn't come with the world data itself, and doesn't know how to extract its own files.

Nevermind, I fucking found it.  Goddamn computer sorcery.
