Cheers, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it won't last as it's almost visible from the spawn. I don't really expect much to last, I've seen griefers destroy stone bridges and I can see new maps being used as server software gets updated.

edit: The lack of mobs depressed me, building this helped somewhat:
