<...>

I'm guessing there's no land claims yet (if ever), but is there even a log of who causes map changes so a griefer can be identified after the fact?

<...>

there will be land claims, probably with land ownership, friend lists and etc... Idea is that flag is placed and around that area everything is indestructible except for you and your friends.

...Q: what griefer protection is in the SMP?...

There are none, because:

Every single minecraft player:
"NOTCH I PAID GOOD MONEYZ FOR UR GAME GIVE IT TOO ME NOW I DON"T CARE HOW BGGY IT R."

Notch:
"Fine! I warn you, though, it's very buggy!"

Every single minecraft player:
"NOTCH I PAID GOOD MONET FOR UR GAME AND IT R BROKN FX IT NOW."

So if you don't want to deal with the very rare incidence of griefers, then don't play multiplayer.

PERSISTENT INVENTORY!

This is by no means a permanent solution, but here it is - client-side persistent inventory!

If you use this JAR file to open Minecraft, it will save your inventory every few seconds. If you quit and rejoin, your inventory will still be there!

This does not fix chests, furnaces, or anything like that. It only stores your character's inventory. Crafting slots are also discarded on disconnect.

Did he raise the price for this yet, or is it still at ~$12?

Good, then I'll try to buy it tonight. Quick question for any americans that bought it: how does paypal handle the conversion to euros from dollars? Is it automatic, or does it entail jumping through some manner of hoop or another?

It's automatic. Though you might have to find the button to change the language. When I first tried to buy it the paypal page was in Swedish by default.

The currency conversion is automatic. When you get to the stage where it's just one click away from purchase it'll tell you how much it's going to charge you in your native currency.

TODAY'S ADVENTURES IN MINECRAFT

"I'm sick of murdering pigs to get food. I know, I've got a large area right outside my front door - I'll start a crop! I'll glass over it and put down some water, and it'll be real-

....is that a dungeon underneath my front doorstep? AWESOME."

And then finally after I'd cleared it all out.

"Now to loot these chests and--"

"hey bro noice housssssssssssssSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" x3

I'm scared to see what my front yard looks like now. I did manage to snag a record from a Creeper though, so the quest is on to find a diamond so I can play it.

One of the things the little blurb can say is "Absolutely dragon free!" :P

Please tell me that's a Creeper spawner. Infinite gunpowder is so tempting...

(yes, I know NBTedit can give you infinite gunpowder too. Shush!)

Hmm... anyone here good at making skins? I'm terrible at pixel art, but I want one of Shadow from FF6. My attempts all look really weird.
