"Kraken" after some contrast boosting. Take it as you will.

I'm thinking warped Sand Stacks? Note the "trees" under the water.

Random tip of the day #1 -- For building underwater.

Fill the area-that-will-be-the-inside with wood, then encase it in glass.  Set the wood on fire and (after a while) you'll have a completely hollow glass object in the water for use however you like.

I prefer to use sand- it's definitely plentiful if you've got a lot of glass, and it's easy enough to clear out the sand later anyway.

Dirt, of course, is even more plentiful.

The hard part about undersea construction is lighting. Water absorbs light very quickly, making the bottom of some small lakes as dark as the abyssal plains of the sea.

Yeah, there's a reason you're not getting any more.
It doesn't exist.  Those are just the sand block texture stretched in the shape of a sea monster.
It's an elaborate shoop, but a shoop nonetheless.

You mean the removal of the terrifying silence that is the trope "Nothing is Scarier"?

The music is much better at dispersing fears than sounds. Oh god the sounds.

I mean, who carries around seven buckets to visit a kraken popping out of a spring?
I would. But they would be full of magma.

And the music is good. It reduces the creepy. Ninja'd.

Yes, as haunting and lonely as the music is, any kind of ambient sound is vastly less unnerving than hearing nothing but the rushing in your ears as you strain for squelches and xylophones.

Pity records only show up in dungeons.  I've only found one, ever, and I don't want to scour a whole new world just to see what they do.  Music from that C4whatever guy, probably.

Difficulty doesn't affect dungeon rates.

Aqizzar, if you still have that record, try making a jukebox if you also have diamond..

I did find a way to track down dungeons- it's simple. Just get Cartographer, run that, and tell it to display "Only" mossy cobblestones. Take the map it spits out, which should have a few rectangular splotches on it, and overlay that on top of a regular world map.

Then you can dig down from over the dungeon, bringing in the gloryous light of day!

Just been having fun with the powered Minecart.

When multiplayer comes out, I'm totally going to make railways between villages... :D

No no, I only found one dungeon ever, and that was a while ago.  I think I destroyed the chest in it, because I dropped in a block of TNT to kill the giant mob of skeletons, and I didn't find any phat lewts...

Where does one find this cartographer?
Google solved nothing.

Presents for Saint!
It is actually Cartograph. Which is where the mistake was made, Cartographer is a very popular WoW addon.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.
