I just copied the chunk files from my everything-is-stone-world into a different world's folder.
Let's rock.
EDIT: HOLY GODS.
...
It's just full of holes.
That's not as fun as they made it out to be.

Gah, if i was playing that tf2 minecraft map, i would get horribly confused. Even now, when i go from minecraft to fallout 3 in the span of 10 minutes, i keep aiming downwards and trying to build stairs to get over things.

Already deleted it.
Imagine a world with random chunks of 16x16x128 scooped out.
That's about what I had.
Now I'm going to screw with the seed itself and see if I can't get something interesting.

Hey Toony, how did you get that little slim into your house?  Did you have to lure all the way up out of the underground?
Yes I did.

Am I not supposed to be able to connect to the multiplayer server yet?

I'd like to remind everyone that half of the time I don't even know what I'm talking about. The other half of the time I only sort of know what I'm talking about.

The Survival MP server? There are 20 slots, and everybody on the planet is trying to connect. Notch's blog reports that there are 8 connection attempts per second. So no, you're not supposed to be able to connect.  :P

If you mean one of the Creative MP servers, they should be working fine. If it's for the B12 server, address your questions here. If it's about servers in general... dunno.

Nearly 10k E in one day. Goodness Gracious.

I cannot wait for that server to come out. No Mobs, of course, but looks like most other things will be working. I don't know if "mobs" will include carts and boats, but I think they are related.

PlaneHacked plans on setting up a private SMP server within hours of release. It will be buggy, it will be lacking in features, but BY XENU, it WILL BE ONLINE!

EDIT: Typo. Yeah, I'll call that a typo.

How do you figure?
1050 purchases in the last 24 hours, 10 Euros per...
That's only 10500 E

I'm still waiting to hear what he plans to spend some of that righteous gob of money on.  If it's not multiple 8Gb RAM dedicated cable-line dedicated servers, like a real company with that kind of money would have, I'm going to be mad.  Mad at Notch.

It's 5250 after taxes and paypal fees. Still, Notch made 218.75 euros an hour, for that 24 hour period, which is pretty awesome.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.  The obvious solution is to chain the baby up at the entrance as a kobold detector.
