No. Literally. Like, "I'm under the world and can't die"

Someone earlier had that issue and logged out and back in and then died.

Oh by the by: can you see cavern systems from down there by looking up?

Yeah, I had that issue. By choice. :P Also, that's weird, because when I was below the world all I could see was the outline of the hole I fell through, and the skybox. Also, this is from his devlog from a couple days back:
Quote
Bug fixes include signs working the way they used to, players below the map correctly dying, and a few minor things I’ve forgotten about.

If it still doesn't work for you I'd probably file a bug report. I think that fix is what got me unstuck, anyways. It was on the same day I booted my save back up.

Tom, from Ruby Quest.

Nice.  Ruby would be a little harder, but you could use the 3D effect to make her ears wrap around her head, like sides>top>back or something.

Speaking of the 3D avatar head effect, it's not working for me.  I added some stuff to the outer-layer space and uploaded it, but it's not showing up in the viewer.  Does it not work there?

The overlayer only works for the head so far, and, and you have to make sure you've got the area you want transparent set to be 100% transparent on the Alpha Layer, or it'll be borked.

If you showed me what you were working with, I might be able to figure it out.

Secret update Friday. New red ore, strange new red stuff, pressure plates and buttons that can open metal doors.

Just to make sure, from people who actually read the Minecraft forum and such, the offline client works the same as the browser client regardless of updates right?  As in, I don't have to download anything to play with the newest version?

If you showed me what you were working with, I might be able to figure it out.

If it can't be done in MSPaint, it's probably not going to happen then.  I don't have any idea what an "Alpha Layer" is.

What's that Aqizzar? I can't hear you over the sound of all this awesome pixel art happening over here.

Ruby's ears were pretty tricky: I used an optical illusion with the over/underlayers to make it look like her ears were folded over, but you could see the pink if you looked at a shallow enough angle. Quite pleased with these ones.

I added an alpha layer using Graphics Gale (my weapon of choice when it comes to pixel art) and tweaked it a bit, since it was showing double mouths if you looked at it from a steep angle. You can set background transparency like this if you upload it to Photobucket, and use the Editing tools too, and I'd venture to guess there's other ways out there too.

And now, on to try the new mechanical bits! Woot!

Kickass.  Although, out of context, the "chin" attempt looks more like a bushy gray beard.  I'm not exactly sure what to do about it, but thanks for the help anyway.

If you mean the Ruby Quest stuff, no, the art is the same liney crap throughout.  Solifuge is going by fanart, like a rational person would.  Pity you can't change the enemy graphics.
