In order to improve the universe's frame rate, we must all throw rocks into volcanoes and then do absolutely nothing, worldwide, for a week, to take pressure off pathfinding.
or maybe throw them into the large hadron collider to atom-smash them instead.
Not to mention to throw all available animals into tiny pits.

Yeah, the tunnels aren't flooded, though it would painfully easy to do so, there's just a pipe with magma flowing around them. Perhaps it would be wise to build locks into it, so that the magma couldn't flood the entire structure if a single block were to be removed. Maybe sheets of water held in place with sponges or something. Easy to break, but then if someone was dedicated to fucking it up there's nothing that could be done to stop it anyways, unless you caught them in the act.

Also, server is up as of writing this, I'm looking at the magma pipes right now.

Actually, it can't flood the entire structure. It's 3.5 blocks high and the magma around the glass structure can only flood the lowest block of the biggest part of Rapture.
Then again, there is a lower part of it, so that could be a problem. I could channel the water in there and have a 4 width, 1*1 line of water in the upper region of Rapture, limiting the possibility of magma floods. But if someone were to delete the sponges holding the water in place (accidentally or on purpose), we have a water flood. That would be easier to deal with because I installed sponge gates in Rapture, but it's much more likely.
Also, "water gates" in Rapture don't look good and people who don't regularly read this thread could just delete the water by building blocks and removing them, making it completely pointless.

So, in other words: I don't know.

Sir_Pseudonymous and Hungry just built the failsafe water locks to limit the dangerousness of magma floods. If you see some water in Rapture, don't automatically remove it. It might be intentional. It should be pretty obvious if it is a flood or a water lock.

Also, the Reichstag is completely awesome. The most impressing fact about that is not the detail and the awesomeness, but that it was built on a public server! The earth is also just crazy. ;D

My thoughts exactly. How do we answer your question if we have no clue what your talking about?

Kael, please stop handing out op to everyone from B12. Not everyone can be trusted.

For example, I was just griefed a bunch by an op named Hungry. On OUR SERVER.

Not. Fun.

Hungry? A griefer? Huh, I didn't expect that from him. Especially because he helped build many projects and has some himself. Probably just an accident, a misunderstanding or a harmless prank. I hope. What exactly did he do?
Also, it's probably not Kael who hands out OP to everyone. Every OP can appoint other OPs. I haven't appointed anyone yet; I'm always very careful with that kind of thing.

I'm assuming cmd-w is the mac version of ctrl-w, which is usually a hotkey for closing the current window and/or tab. I think he means that minecraft grabbed mouse focus and he couldn't get it back. To answer his question: I don't know why, try using the WoM client instead. I hear you can find a copy on /rs/ if you don't want to register with WoM, haven't looked myself.

According to the Minecraft Wiki, yes, you can.
But as I said: Better be careful. It doesn't matter if they come from the Bay12 forums. It's not like we're all a happy, creative family without any grudges or urges to destroy something. I would say: If a player hasn't created anything on Kael's server yet, hasn't helped with any project and hasn't given any constructive advice concerning a project, they don't deserve to be OP at all.
That might sound harsh, but the last thing we need is a griefing OP banning every other OP and building GRIEFTOPIA!
...
Hmm, sorry, I got a bit carried away there. But I hope you get my point.
