Unfortunately, it speeds up everything, including the day-night cycle and mobs, so you can't abuse this to gain any advantage over monsters. It also probably doesn't work in Multiplayer. It'll also probably get fixed soon.

While interesting, I found the video more annoying than anything. Some idiot yelling as he mined into lava isn't my idea of humor.

The speed hack could be useful if it didn't, as stated, speed up EVERYTHING.

It's still useful because the time to mine Obsidian gets reduced considerably and you can speed up the time you spend underground just waiting for the day.

The server got crazy overloaded, so now they're making a switch to a much bigger server that can handle the ridiculous amounts of people who play Minecraft. Should be up within the week, I think... in the meantime, at least we can get authenticated again.

Bans are for repeat warnings and serious offenses only. If you got warned before for memes then you should have quit it. If you didn't have three warnings then I'll look into it.

It was my second offense. First offense was, if I remember correctly, calling someone an "Idiot" for flaming the game.

I do think two offenses are bannable though, not three. How unfortunate :(

I... I'm not sure what to say here, other than I think that it's a good thing I'm not very active on the MC forums, because I'd be so banned if that's what the status quo is like.
