I dug a branching shaft underground and use torches rather conservatively. Is it possible for mobs to spawn in the incredibly-dark places of my underground maze?

Mobs will spawn wherever it's dark enough. The deeper you go the brighter it needs to be to prevent it.

Mobs will spawn wherever it's dark enough. The deeper you go the brighter it needs to be to prevent it.

It has been changed back, I am certain.

He speaks the truth - and it's probably a good idea to avoid as much poop as possible while playing this game.

Oh my god yes. I mean, oh god no when you hear your door opening, and I don't even know how to describe the horror of meeting a creeper queen, but overall very yes.
