I'm writing a major paper (and have been writing and rewriting for more than a week...  :-\) and Pogo's remixes/whatever you call those have been a godsend. I need music to be productive, but anything with words is distracting. Luckily his stuff is just awesome.

Also, when I get time to fiddle with minecraft I really need to try out that 32x32 tileset...

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

No, it wasn't.
It was distinctly not in the file.
I directly copied the entire listing that it reads from in one of my previous posts here.

"Notch <3 ez!" was, however.

I know this is old news, but yes, it was.

Why is Christmas on the 24th?

EDIT: Also, if the variable is never set, it's default is 'this.l = "missingno";' Notch played Pokemanz

I tried it today for the first time and found it wanting. Dwarf Fortress > Minecraft any time

Yeah, the demo doesn't do it justice at all.

Christmas eve is the 24th, presents are all at the try by then, and Santa visits that night. Christmas day is the 25th, presents are ripped open. Least around here. That being said, people wish eachother merry christmas the last time they'll see eachother before the 25th (eg co worker at the end of the last day of work, or family before they go to bed on the 24th, so its a perfectly fine time to say it. However if i were Notch, i'd get it to stick around on the 25th too.

Wierd.

I wonder if there are any reports of strange zone revertion on the others like those that were for Jaycraft. If there are, then something got seriously F'ed up.

On a lighter note, I wonder when the maps will update so that I can see my handiwork from what would be space. It turns out my house is right on the edge of where his wall will be. I did have to shrink one side a little, but I didn't mind since I thought I had more space than I actually needed, or wanted anyway.

I'll just have to do my spanish villa idea elsewhere.
