Server is down, unless they've set up a new one and are holding out on us.

A massive collaborative design effort seems like a recipe for disaster to me (competing designs and ideas meant to mesh together?), and making a copy of an already existing megaproject just seems to violate the rather central element of designing and building your own work.

Yeah guys, just woke up, also, I don't know if you want a normal generated map, or an Omen generated map. I don't know how to use Omen, so if anyone does, sending me the map file would be awesome.

Also, does anyone want the old mapfile for themselves?

I have four separate dumped versions, though I have no clue as to how to use them. I also don't know what omen is, so... yeah, no opinion there at the moment.

I figured out the whole dumping thing. Although it does shut off any hax you have upon load.

Basically, in your own server, load a map, go to where you saved the dump file (usually the game directory), change view to all files, and choose which one you want (you can rename them).

I have the original version of the map before the madness, and after it. Pre- and post-spiking of my ship. As well as additional random/accidental dumpings.

Ah, it's nice to see the old place cleaned up. Too bad I can't share it with everyone in the same server.

Oh, and does anybody have the original, fresh version of the place? (Dumped upon entry)

I am 100% confused and have no idea what your talking about.

Basically he a has a program that can download the map in it's current state. He has records of the map before all the crazy constructions overwhelmed the map and after.
 I'll figure out how to run my own private server just to preview maps soon enough. Then I'll make a custom map, just for us.

Make sure a pool of lava is generated high enough to go "fuck the world"

 I'll have a block of the stuff just for that, although I don't wish to crash this server. That will be a 'special' map.

Ooh, ooh. The new map should be a DF 2D style sheer vertical cliff face that goes from one edge of the map to the other.

Edit: With a river outside and inside, a chasm, and a magma river as usual. (Though maybe we can fix these ourselves.)
