You blew that water right out of the water.

I pretty much have to abandon it now, since it doesn't have snow and snow is awesome
Hold it right there.
It's possible to get snow in existing maps.

So, I got my kickass manor loaded into new version with snow.  And now my manor has snow, which is awesome.  But I've encountered a bug.  Snow considers glass invisible, because I guess it's based on sunlight exposure.  While I appreciate looking at the wintry sky through my glass ceiling, I don't appreciate my ballroom being covered in snow.

When multiplayer is released we gonna be all over that.  Duke and I have it all covered.

@jaybud
TNT is awesome.

Also I'm gonna make a Minecraft forum account I guess.

The snow through glass bug has been covered already. I dunno if Notch is working on it but it has been posted in the thread about the update.

Hmm... my snow map has a (glass-covered) tunnel straight down to the bottom of the world. If snow falls through glass...

....does that mean I can make Hell freeze over?

Eh, My constructions are fairly simple. I spend most of my time underground in the search for precious metals! If I ever stick with one map long enough. I'd end up with a grid of tunnels beneath, each tunnel section 100 meters long, with surface access at every intersection.

As it is, Updates keep making me Regen or just pack up and move to lands unknown.

Also, These would be EVERYWHERE!

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

Look we get, java's not indie enough for you or whatever.  C'mon in, the water's fine.  Minecraft is barrels of fun, even in free mode.

It's not the indie thing. It's the annoyance thing.

Gonna go try to get it running in the console tonight again.

But java ISN'T annoying. All the problems you listed I have nover noticed. Whatever old version you had, they have changed it. Java does NOTHING unless it's being used.

I think he is somewhat rightfully paranoid on what happens behind the scenes.
