Rollercoasters are coming...

WHEEEEEEEEE Oh my God, that's so cool.  I wonder if you'll be able to ride in a minecart that has stuff in it?
Place the minecart containing your stuff in front of the riding cart and it won't matter.

 Also, Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

I'm waiting for flying mechanics to be added. Can you imagine? Saving up for an ultimate project wherein you build a customizable aircraft, all with different pre-set parts but in any order/design you want? Adding fuel, jumping in, and flying anywhere?

Also dragons. Flying dragons. That breathe magma and shit diamonds.

Too Cliche apparently..

'Course, if you did give him that amount of money, they'd be in game within the hour.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
How old is that screenshot? I seen a LP around may, and it never flowed like that.

Edit: Also, thats one badass of a fort. Didn't know there was doors available to craft too.

The response is a little late but I did that using many buckets of lava.  I placed some down at one spot and placed another bucketful where the flow ended making a continuous moat.  If you look closely you may notice that it appears a bit lumpy.  The higher points are where a bucket of lava was placed.

Not that I'm complaining but... Dragons are too cliche but skeletons, zombies, and giant spiders aren't?

And so, I bring up the age old argument.
It's his game, he can do what he wants with it.
Heheh, no but really, that is his reasoning for it.
Go ask him.

Can you pick up pigs?

I foresee people putting them in mine carts and launching them off enormous ramps.

Well you can't pick up pigs, but I guess you could still launch a cart full of bloody pork slices off of a ramp.

Now I just need a good skin for my character...

No SMP for while yet, I'm afraid. He's ironing out the current in(f)dev  and adding more features for now, mostly because it will be easier for him to release all major updates before servers. Saving servers from having to regularly update and lost their current maps (more often than not, they will have to)

Next week is a large performance update, which will help many people greatly as the game can be very CPU intensive.

After the performance updates, RIDEABLE MINECARTS!!!!!!
Can't wait!

So basically, SMP is not likely to be released within the near future :(
