Ive got one. The old "chop the base of a tree, dig two down, place TNT, place wood pressure plate, replace logs" trick. Does that still work, or does the first item not fall fast enough?

It would have to fall at a certain angle.

You could do that with sand. Place a block(sandstone, whatever else would fit) in such a way that someone would want to mine it, and underneath the sandstone is a pressure plate. Over it is sand. The sand should fall when the sandstone is mined, then 'break' when it hits the pressure plate and activate it.

Edit: Or have a piston 'activated' with a piece of sand in front of it so that when they mine the block the sand is pushed into the space and then falls.

I think the only reason is to shit mod-makers who have non-SMP compatible mods that cant easily be made SMP-compatible in the face.

Do we happen to know if 1.3 fixed the lighting bugs that ravaged 1.2.5 and the CTM maps built before it?

Lighting issues still exist (like really dark areas under hangovers, etc.)
