I'm saying that none of the fanbase fall into that audience. Pretty much everyone who plays the game that I know of views updates as an annoyance, because updates mean we need to wait for mods to update as well.

I look forward to the next version of Industrialcraft far more than I look forward to the next version of Minecraft.

I don't think Notch or Yogscast are entirely in the right in this. Yeah, Yogs were asshats, but Notch is a presumably mature Swede. There wasn't any need to air the dirty laundry in public.

RE: Minecraft

I actually don't mind the direction Minecraft is taking. Some of the stuff strikes me as rushed and incomplete - the Enderdragon fight seems a bit tacked on, for example.

The thing is that the core of Minecraft's charm is that it's a sandbox. As long as it keeps to that, even if Notch adds tons of stuff, I think there'll be a huge audience.

I can't wait for the next Redpower update, personally.  Once the automatic crafting table is in Minecraft will be a perfect game for me.

This new version Minecraft Vanilla is fun, sure, but I also like mods. I'll be keeping different files for differently modded minecrafts (maybe with this minecraft portable thingy)

At the rate I play this game there is a lot of new stuff everytime I play, so I don't need mods :x. I still need to find a wolf so far and I haven't build one of those pushy thing either.

Be prepared for heartache when your wolf falls into lava. The final cry he let out before dying made me so sad I can't bring myself to tame animals in case I kill them again.

Wheras I harvest them for wolfchops and make them sit in dung factories. (BTW MOD)

I've never seen a wolf in Minecraft.

They're rare, and only see in two or three biomes.

I've already made every potion and got every enchantment. I have a large warehouse dedicated to just having all my enchanted gear sitting on shelves.

I've still not made a matter fabricator in IC.
