Just backup your Technic Pack folder, it's way behind the actual mods anyway.

 I got it downloaded, then remembered that I should probably remove the ton of mods I have installed.

 But I can't remove them all without betting on the update server being up.

I have to keep backdated to 1.7.1 to play on N@W anyway :P

And FPS is surprisingly good. Granted, I'm playing on fast graphics with tiny render.

My FPS is surprisingly ok, with Normal render distance and all other graphics set to fast. I'm surrounded by chickens though, and I get a weird graphical glitch where my arm will periodically turn black.

I think I may have found part of the problem; when checking the options, I was told that I'm only running 32 bit Java, and I think my system is 64-bit.

Alright, got it working by neutering the mods I had installed. Hurah.

Although I started on a rather boring strip of land, so I may regen for something more like what MoM has. I'm super happy seeing stair blocks dropping stair blocks, although slabs all still require a pickaxe.

I started in a swamp, but I found a nice cave to live in for now. I can hear monsters nearby, so here's hoping for a cavern system!
