sigh, and yet during christmas no one gifted me with the indev, while people who never once built anything on the bay12 maps just had to make a single post and bam, indev.

I hope there is another giveaway next christmas, as the amount of people who bought the game seems to have like tripled in the last few months.

there is bound to be someone who can give it to me that time

Why was my SilverGold temple I built with Darkwind not posted its one of the coolest and earliest? (There wasnt any pixel art when we built it)>

I was trying to tell you man, the massing and form of the building just didn't respond to the context of the site intelligently enough. It was an architectural disaster.

And I'm sure you could have taken some snaps of it yourself, to post for everyone else's amusement, if you had been inclined to do so ;)

Whoa... I logged back in to finish my fortress/underwater dome and found the dome finished and the fortress connected to an epic sky bridge. ;D

Edit: And the dome is now part of a giant underwater structure!

I caved and bought Minecraft, so I should be able to give somebody who missed out a free version next Christmas.

Server will be down for the night - doing maintenance: my server comp has been on for a few weeks straight. I'm installing a new dvd drive and some software. It will be up tomorrow afternoon around 3pm PST with the current map reloaded. It's starting to get full though so we can expect a swap in the next few days. I kept backups of the two maps so far.

Thanks to you regulars who have made the minigames fun and filled the map with awesome stuff.

Remember to set the spawn in my maze. >:D

Also, in the instant the server went down I snapped this screen:

ALWAYS I WANNA BE WITH YOU
AND MAKE BELIEVE WITH YOU
AND
LIVE IN HARMONY HARMONY
OH LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE

The adminium "AWESOME" in front of it is in response to the individual seen here defacing the rainbow the unicorn is shitting writing "GAY" in adminium in that same place.

I always used Adminium. Although I like the term Bedrock used for the tiles you cannot build on  that surround the map, with another name for the blocks ops can place and break.

Did I mention that I love skybridges? ;D It was even more insane on the previous map.

Pointlessly huge stairways are my speciality. ^^

So my bridge is pretty goddamn amazing.
Hey, stop acting like you did the whole thing. You added lotsa gold in there, I give you that, but it's our bridge. :P

Edit: Also, I love the Robot Unicorn Attack reference. xD

I don't know if this trick is well-known, but I just found out a very fast way to get to the top of very tall structures.
You know that the respawn logic of the game puts you on top of the block if you're respawning in a block, don't you?
Well, if you have a tall tower of blocks, you can just remove two blocks at the bottom, stand where the blocks have been, press Enter (setting the respawn point), rebuild the blocks and press R.
Voilá! You're at the top of the tower! ;D

It's, for example, really handy for getting to the top of the Stairway to Heaven™
