 I live underground anyway. Itss be even better now that torches have a nice warm glow to them.

Hopy shit! It seems this mod is like Movecraft, except the resulting craft moves like a boat that can travel up and down.

Cannot wait to see that in SMP. Pirate teams would be so sweet. Sailing the sky with friends, setting enemy sky boats on fire.

And that the stuff doesn't really interact with the world, apart from basic collision.  Although apparently breaking blocks on a ship in motion is already implemented for the next version.

Also fun looking is the Aether Mod , perhaps along with that thar Zeppelin thingy. NOt sure if its SMP ready to go, but if it is, is anyone running this?:

The clay dudes mod would probably destroy bandwidth. RTSes are generally deterministic to decrease network consumption by allowing only commands to be exchanged. Minecraft sends change updates, which works poorly for hundreds of units.

I'm waiting for more fluid, boat-like controls before it becomes a "must-have" mod for me. Right now it doesn't really feel like an airship.
