There is that, but there's also lava, I can just see players making lava moats and aggroing them to make them dash into their flaming death.

The thing is, they teleport. I imagine if their path is blocked, whamf, there they are, right in front of you! Also, I imagine you'd have to move and keep your reticle on them at the same time, which, as skinny as they are, will probably be tricky while moving.

But the only teleport if they'll be in your LOS, and I doubt they can teleport onto the same square as you, cuz that'd just be a dickmove.

Im almost sure Notch will have them fight back if you attack them/one of their brethren.

I have already went ahead and asked Notch to have them breath heavy and raspy while they are frozen and staring at you.

I wonder how hard they are to kill, and how much damage they do. Somehow it's just not as frightening when you can beat them down in one hit with your fists, or when they smack you for half a heart each hit.

He probably wouldn't make them that weak though. OR WOULD HE?

Since you can totally avoid them, they shouldn't be weak, unless you make a dumb move and go face to face with one.


I wonder if they could have creeper pathfinding so you round a corner or in a cave and come face to face like the weeping angels, only to be stuck without being able to look away, hahaha

Have them take damage during the day, but try to get to the nearest 0 light level area possible and turn hostile. Imagine seeing them all scurry into the shadows as daybreak comes. Or, if your house is the only 0 light level area... imagine them roaring through your house, screaming and clawing at everything in sight as they try to get in your basement.

If your house has a zero-light-level area, you're doing it wrong.
Mushrooms don't need -zero- light to grow.

Besides, he completely rewrote the archery system (in order to occupy time so he doesn't have to explain why he didn't implement [REDACTED]).  Bows aren't as you know them now.

I do wonder if he's even testing any of this stuff in MP.
