Hopefully they haven't removed the bug that lets you itemize blocks; infinite auto-mining cobble factory ahoy!

Micro, that wouldn't work. Pistons will only push say, 8 blocks at a time or so.
If pistons could push themselves... the idea just might work.  Unfortunately, the base of the piston is the stationary part.  It would be cool if you had to have more blocks behind the piston to keep it from pushing itself.  Then you "could" create a machine that lays a constant run of cobblestone.

You should still be able to make the self repairing structures though.

No, that is not the result of custom art textures.
I'm using Vattic's Faithful pack.

It's also not visible from the other side at all.
So... does that mean you could create a one-way window?

If there's no transparency at all, it's fully visible on the other side.
A shame, I know.

What is it with the minecraft community and movie makers that can't stand still!

I was watching that Art of Painting mod movie and the guy just couldn't stand still at the end.  It's not the first time I've seen similar behavior.  Sometimes when people are trying to explain something they "half click" the blocks on the ground in front of them like they are mining it out, but stop before doing so.

It's like the entirety of Minecraft has A.D.D.

I'm not even going to get into the way overused stupid half laugh of CaptainSparklez.

TF2 has trained me to never stop moving at all ever in games. Sure it majorly hurts my accuracy at all times but it's the only way to survive.

The Nazis were trained to never stop moving and they conquered Europe.

Hey, all you glorious people.
I'm bringing Jaycraft back as it was in the days of yore, when I hosted it on my own computer.
Kinda.  I'm not going to resurrect the thread just yet, as I'm not actually on my computer.
I'm none too sure about the quality of this computer for this, but I'll give it a shot.
I'll also make no guarantees as to how long I'll keep doing this.  But here it is, for now.

EDIT: Case in point, that computer no longer boots, for some impossibly bizarre reason.  I should have my normal PC rebuilt tomorrow, but in the meantime, the laptop I've moved to as a third backup isn't powerful enough to run Minecraft, let alone a server.
EDIT2: LOLWUT.  In what world does a damn pushbutton power switch fail?  How lucky am I?  :|
Not even in the way that you'd expect, either.  No, no, it didn't just FAIL.  It shorted out, causing the computer to start up and shut down repeatedly, corrupting the BIOS (which was backed up twice, so not an issue exactly) and bewildering me.
In any case, I've performed some transplant surgery with the button from my other case, and all is now well, apart from the fact that this computer is now using two cases :V    I think I need to find a proper button to replace it with, but I can't be assed right now.

...
EDIT3: See a later post of mine for Jaycraft details.

I remember the Jaycraft of yore. Man I sucked at that jumpy-fally-death game.
