A lets play of Pirates!: Live The Life! We embark on an epic journey of stealing shit on the high seas as we court the daughters of governators, get chased by
the U.S navy pirate hunters, combat famous pirates, steal said pirates treasure and illegally download games/songs! oh and there's also this sub plot of rescuing your family from this Spanish dude. but that's not important. I'll ask you guys to vote on some of my actions and also to do the following:
vote on a name for our flagship
name our captain
vote on our captains special skill
vote on which nations crew to first sign up on (then later mutiny and take their ship)
request to add ships to our fleet (I'll only accept to have four ships of your request at a time because more ships slow your fleet down)
Request what ship you want our flagship to end up as.
I'll probably think up more for you to do along the way, but that's about it.
fencing: our captain is better at dueling people.
navigation: the ship goes faster
gunnery: our range (and maybe accuracy) with cannons is increased
medicine: our career will end at a later age
courtship: it'll be easier to attract "the ladies"
pinnace: fastest class of ship low capacity for crew cargo and guns and very vulnerable but easy to manuever and dodge with.
sloop: similar to pinnace, but can carry a larger crew
Brig: bigger than sloops but not as fast and can carry more guns crew and cargo. can successfully sail against the wind
Frigate: large ship. fast for its size, can carry large crews and can make sharper turns. will never be seen sailing out of Spanish ports
combat galleons: similar to frigates in terms of firepower, but much slower. very low maneuverability.
ships come in 3 sizes for each type, large medium and small. most of the time, the bigger the better.
nations: Spanish, Dutch, French, English.
