So I'm preparing for a siege of bowgoblins...
« on: May 16, 2009, 12:57:19 am »

When a Titan shows up, no biggie, I say to myself, he's on the other side of the map, he won't do no harm while we're welcoming the iron.
So I finish wiping out the siege and am waiting for the titan, he never shows up, confused, I check my units list, and what do I see? a Titan, marked as friendly.
So I "WAT" and zoom to his location, surely enough, he's a noble, a ruler infact, of another race.

The question is, WHAT SHOULD I DO TO HIM?!
He killed my fisherdwarf, for some reason, or maybe he didn't? maybe a goblin did, because there's no reason a fisherdwarf would be way up there where there's no water.
But he's ignoring my dwarves, and my dwarves are ignoring him, so maybe it's no biggy.
But the race he's ruler of DID just get their caravan slaughtered thanks to the siege, good thing it's a primitive race with no liasons. :P

Build a cage trap underneath her, knock the titan out with a cave in, and then release the her atop a giant tower, to look over her domain. Or throw her in the dungeon with a bunch of goblin prisoners and enjoy the ensuing carnage.

Are you sure the titan isn't the ruler of your civ? The only time I can recall this happening is when somebody added [RELIGION:ANY_APPROPRIATE_POWER] to the dwarf entity entry.

Yup, it's the ruler of a Kentauri civ.

But yeah, I tried stationing military next to her and neither party cared at all, she just walks around aimlessly near where she spawned, guess the game doesn't know what to do with her.
If she wasn't walking around so much I would knock her out, but I've never done it before and I kinda like having her around, she killed some goblins apparently(had some goblin blood splatters in her inventory, plus she's holding some narrow clothing, WUT!)

Probably ripped the clothing off of the gobbos and then held it for sentimental value.

I'd like to have megabeast rulers/nobles.  Imagine what a dragon would mandate.

"I need blankets made of diamonds and maidens to eat!  NOW!"

Imagine the melancholy of a Bronze Colossus mandating the production of bronze statues.

Same kind of mandates the Japanese would make.

Family game when that HFS leaves "unknown liquids" on the lower parts of the bodies of those caged things (or so the discussion page says)? We both know what it'll REALLY be...elven virgins! Elves will be killed in the process of obtain ing these- he never specified they had to be alive...

We all know this game would be an 18 if it weren't for the adorable ASCII tileset.

The poor girl is just so confused.
I ended up taking her under my wing with dwarf companion, this led to her sitting in the dining room doing nothing, not even eating or drinking, so I had to change her civ back to her own, that was good and all, she still stood around in my dining room.
Then a dragon came, I got him in a cage trap, but she ran straight for the edge of the map that he came from... and just stood around.
And now I decided to breach the pits, afterwards I notice she's standing in the middle of the melancholy units... doing nothing.
what the FUCK is wrong with this titan. *cries*

Edit: Unrelated to the titan, but on the very bottom z levels top-left corner is a single mined out space, on the very corner, inside that space is a full suit of large clothes.
what the hell. ;_;

The titan is obviously a golem waiting for tectonic plate movement to eventually reveal the set of clothes it lost at the bottom of the sea several millennia ago.  </pterry reference>
