did you put in the entity without the creature andmake it create a simi-random reference to cave crocs in the process?

Cave crocodiles seem to be one of the things dwarf fortress reverts to when it's missing a reference, that and fire imps.
I had lots of tests with this a while ago, burning leather and what-not. haha.

I already checked his suggestions zchris13 and everything was in order. I even deleted the raws for cave crocodiles and they continue to show up.

Upload your raws to DFFD or something, it sounds like your entity file may be pointing to a race that doesn't exist.

Hey thanks everyone for your help it was something to do with the creature and entity file relationship; I never found the problem so I just changed the entity and creature names both to ORK as opposed to ORC and somehow this worked instead. Weird but I don't mind.

hmm... a duplicate entry usually messes more things up than that, but sure you didn't have orc in there twice?
