I love it how someone jumping out of an airlock whilst shouting 'HE THREW ME' drives the whole station into chaos for the rest of the round.

I supercharged the prototype, and it didn't hit 1500 degrees.

As for the AI, it needs engine tiles, not AI or normal floor tiles. At least where its dwarven moat is.

Speaking of the engine. Thank you thank you thank you for pre-placing all the plasma and O2 containers into the engine at start. I hated having to drag all of them into the engine EVERY TIME with the old station.

beorn: I'll try to redesign the prototype at some point, but still, I'm not entirely sure how effective it will be.  I will, however, add those tiles to the satellite.

cib: I'm still taking a break, but I'll probably start working on it again tomorrow.  I do need the password for it, though.  By the way, what changes ARE you making?

RE: radiation.

How about having tiles exposed to space actually have a cone of radiation come in to the station, using the same logic as the visual code does, when looking through windows/doors. Instead of just ramdonly flooding the entire station.

The whole radiation thing is rather unrealistic, as only extraordinarily high energy gamma rays will be able to penetrate the majority of the station, and these high energy rays have only a few health effects, if any. The most those rays would do would be to increase your chances of cancer, certainly not kill you in a few minutes.


The only places the radiation would actually enter the station would be the windows, As even aluminum is only around 20% less effective than lead at blocking gamma radiation.

Extro actually has a good idea regarding the radiation, As those would realistically be the only areas affected. You could possibly create some sort of radiated scale, with more exposed areas being highly radiated, as bad as the entire station is now, and exterior areas being slightly radiated, leaving areas near the center relatively unaffected.

I enjoy the killing power of radiation as much as anyone, but currently its unavoidable, and nearly impossible to survive.

Same with plasma storms. I recommended switching out the exploding plasma cans for exploding anesthetic cans, but not sure if that would help.
